They both play a big part in each others life and in the story.
The main character is Jacob but Grandpa Portman is another main character he is also Jacobs grandfather.
"the most fascinating person i knew." Pg.12 He is Outgoing.
"Knew everything about guns and self-defense and surviving in the wilderness, and spoke at least
three languages that weren't English."Pg.12 He is at multitasking.
"when i asked my dad why grandpa was so crazy about guns,he said it sometimes happens to people
who used to be soldiers or who had experienced traumatic things."Pg.29 He is a strong person.
Grandpa Portman is a lot of things but i would he is very Kind, caring and polite person.
"way he explained things was almost hypnotizing, and within two sessions he'd convinced me that the creature had been noting then product overheated imagination."Pg.43 belives in people.
"my grandfather had described it a hundred times, but in his stories that house was always a bright,
happy place."Pg.83 He is outgoing a lot like his grandpa.
Jacob is a strong person he likes to question a lot of things but when he is passionate about something he rarely gives up.
