I picked this quote because it shows that Miss Peregrines really cares about the kids and their safety. It also show that Miss Peregrine thinks that both worlds are so different that its unless to fill their heads with dreams and wonders.

"You mean you actually raid the village." "Smash it up, chase people around, take what we like, burn things down. Its all a good laugh.... Well they're back right as rain the next day and don't remember nothing about it."
This quote talks about what some of the peculiar children do for fun. Some kids think that it doesn't matter what they do because the next day will just restart and no one will remember.

I've been wonder all this time if Jacob was peculiar or not. I guess he is! I chose this quote because in the beginning of the book Jacob thought of himself as a normal kid. Little did he know he was just like the other peculiar children and his grandfather.

"Abe had a rare and peculiar talent, something almost no one else could do." "And then she met my eyes and said, "He could see the monsters."
From the beginning of the book we didn't know much about Abe, Jacobs grandfather until now. We now know that he was peculiar. He has the powers to see monsters. Maybe thats why he was killed. Like Emma said in the quote above Abe had a rare talent almost no one could do.
